My figurative work involves the exploration of process, and finding the balance between active sketch and finished rendering. For me, the act of drawing the figure is as important as the end result. I think that work which reveals processes is some of the most impactful, something I want to share with the viewer. For me, the creation of art is adventure, exploration and experimentation - where one is never quite sure what’s going to happen next.
